Pro tehdej\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdrobn\u00ed sf\u00e9ru automobilov\u00e9ho pr\u016fmyslu to byl revolu\u010dn\u00ed po\u010din a jeho pr\u016flomov\u00e9 vlastnosti si uv\u011bdom\u00ed zpravidla jen ten, kdo tuto dobu pro\u017eil a m\u00e1 mo\u017enost srovn\u00e1n\u00ed s roky p\u0159edchoz\u00edmi, kdy byli lid\u00e9 doslova odkojeni \u201eemb\u00e9\u010dky\u201c \u0160koda 1000 MB, \u201estovkami a stodes\u00edtkami\u201c \u0160koda 100 a 110 R Coup\u00e9 a samoz\u0159ejm\u011b s\u00e9riov\u011b vyr\u00e1b\u011bn\u00fdmi typy \u0160koda 105 a 120. S v\u00fdrobou vozu Favorit, s pohonem p\u0159edn\u00edch kol, se za\u010dalo experimentovat s mo\u017enost\u00ed nab\u00eddnout na trh verzi, upravenou do sv\u00e9r\u00e1zn\u00e9 podoby, kterou bychom mohli charakterizovat \u010d\u00edmsi mezi kabrioletem a typick\u00fdm voz\u00edtkem pro rekrea\u010dn\u00ed \u00fa\u010dely, ide\u00e1ln\u00edm pro milovn\u00edky trampov\u00e1n\u00ed. A skute\u010dn\u011b se n\u011bco takov\u00e9ho poda\u0159ilo, sice jen v podob\u011b prototypu, kter\u00fd nikdy nepro\u0161el do st\u00e1dia s\u00e9riov\u00e9 v\u00fdroby, nicm\u00e9n\u011b v\u016fz byl na sv\u011bt\u011b a za\u0159adil se tak alespo\u0148 do sb\u00edrky veter\u00e1n\u016f.
